Sign of Spring – Alpha’s Preventative Maintenance Plans Prevent Problems

We’re finally free of the fear of freezing, and now is the perfect time to check your HVAC system and change your filters.

Longer days and milder weather signal the arrival of spring, that transitional season when it’s common to rely on both your heater and your air conditioner to keep your facility comfortable as outdoor temperatures fluctuate. It’s also the time of year when an increase in pollen counts can exacerbate springtime allergies. Air filters play a significant role in reducing the number of allergens that enter your building.

Alpha Energy Solutions customers rely on Alpha technicians’ preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment is running efficiently. Most preventative maintenance programs have their facility serviced four times per year, with many spring service appointments landing in April.

A spring tune-up includes cleaning of coils on outdoor units. This is an area that, left unchecked, can cause equipment to run inefficiently. Alpha technicians check every part of the equipment, including fans, belts, and filters. If there’s a refrigerant leak in a line, valve, or fitting, the spring tune-up is the time to find and fix it.
