The Alpha Energy Solutions No. 88 show car will be appearing at One Southern Indiana’s Metro Manufacturing Alliance National Manufacturing Day on Thursday, October 1st, in the Perkins Technology Center at the Ivy Tech Jeffersonville Campus, 1638 Production Drive in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Southern Indiana manufacturers support these events to inform and involve the public in learning about this important sector of the economy. Manufacturing Day is an occasion for participating manufacturers to speak directly to their local communities, particularly young adults looking for viable career options.
On Thursday, the doors open at 8:30 am with tours and manufacturers exhibiting for area students, followed by a formal press conference at 10:00 am. Students and public tours of the center and exhibits will continue until 3:00 pm.
Alpha’s Regional Account Executive Chris Gunther will also join the show car on location. 18-year-old Louisville, Kentucky, native Ben Rhodes drives the No. 88 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with JR Motorsports.
