Kentucky law requires that all non-residential water customers install a backflow prevention device and have it serviced annually. Alpha Mechanical Service’s customers trust the plumbing service division to test these devices for building owners.
David McConnell, the foreman for Alpha’s plumbing division, said that backflow prevention testing is an important component of Alpha’s regular preventative maintenance program. And Alpha’s customers in Indiana are required to have inspections done twice yearly.
When there are periods of heavy rain, as is expected throughout the Alpha service area during Labor Day weekend, the company performs services on groundwater pumps.
Alpha’s plumbing division offers other services: Leak Detection, Pipe Locating, Camera Inspections, and High-Pressure Water Jetting.
