When country music star, Chris Young, hits the stage before the June 30 Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, temperatures are expected to be in the 90s.
Alpha units like this one are ready for a hot weekend at Kentucky Speedway
According to Bruce Johnson, director of Alpha’s rental equipment division, several of the units will be on-site and standing by, ready to be put in place at a moment’s notice anywhere on the property.
Alpha Energy Solutions has installed a 30-ton package unit to cool one of the large tents used for corporate hospitality. There are also two 5-ton package units cooling the press area in the Infield. Nearly a dozen more pieces are on site.
During the weekend, Alpha Energy Solutions will have several technicians at the Speedway ready to resolve any air-conditioning issues. The weather forecast is for sweltering and dry conditions.
Alpha Energy Solutions will also be in the Fan Zone, where the #9 Stanley Ford Fusion/Alpha Energy Solutions car will be displayed. Ben Rhodes, the 15-year-old son of Alpha Energy president Joe Rhodes, will be talking with fans and signing autographs there throughout the weekend.
