Major Jake McKinney of the Kentucky National Guard came to Alpha’s headquarters to accept 1,000 Kentucky Speedway tickets from Gerry Lewis.

Alpha Energy Solutions sales director Gerry Lewis presented the tickets to Major Jake McKinney during a brief ceremony at Alpha’s headquarters on Sept. 4.  The race, the ARCA ZLOOP 150, is scheduled for Sept. 19 at the Sparta, Ky.

“We have a lot of racing fans in the Guard, so I know these tickets will go quickly,” said McKinney.

Lewis said the ticket giveaway is an Alpha initiative to support military families. “We’re so proud to have the opportunity to provide these brave soldiers and their families with an opportunity to experience a great night of racing at Kentucky Speedway. We’re looking forward to seeing a big turnout from the Guard in Sparta.”

Also, the tickets are a way of thanking the Guard for its support of the Alpha Energy Solutions racing team during the last two years. Driver Ben Rhodes has driven his #41 Chevrolet Impala to the top spot in this year’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East schedule. Rhodes has won five of 14 races and has 10 Top-Five finishes and is on track to win the series points race and its rookie of the year award.
