Alpha recommends that facility managers consider ordering mid-summer filter changes and having AC units checked to ensure they are running at peak efficiency. This includes checking refrigerant levels, a critical consideration during the hottest months of the year.
Many units feature an economizer, which regulates the volume of outside air brought in through the equipment. Fine-tuning the economizer can save thousands of dollars for any business.
