For the first time, members of the media and passersby at Louisville’s Fourth Street Live got a chance to see the #88 Alpha Energy Solutions show car on Feb. 5. Ben Rhodes, the Alpha Energy Solutions driver, will compete in 10 races in the #88 car in the 2015 Xfinity Series.
The Southern Media Luncheon, sponsored by Kentucky Speedway, included an appearance by former NASCAR champion and current NBC Sports racing analyst Jeff Burton. Dozens of local and regional media members attended the event at the Sports and Social Club. Among those on hand were representatives of four local TV stations, Clear Channel radio, and the state’s two leading newspapers.

The crew from On Track with Ben Rhodes was on hand and taped a segment with Burton that will appear in a future show.
The season premiere of On Track with Ben Rhodes is set to air Feb. 7 at Noon on WBNA-TV and Feb. 8 at 2 on WBKI-TV.
