The big economic news in Louisville this week, other than the running of the Kentucky Derby, is the announcement that CafePress, Alpha Mechanical’s neighbor in Riverport, is moving its headquarters here. 40-ton Unit Replacements All in a Day’s Work for Alpha Mechanical

A simple enough assignment. Alpha Mechanical Service, as part of its ongoing work for a local real estate management company, replaced two 40-ton Trane units from the top of a medical building on Gray Street in downtown Louisville. For Centre College students walking by the Alpha Mechanical Service installation on campus, the engineering feat taking place was worth stopping for a look. Speedway Gets New 12.5-Ton HVAC Unit

Alpha Mechanical Service recently replaced a 12.5-ton rooftop HVAC unit at Kentucky Speedway, where officials are gearing up for the big Sprint Cup Weekend June 28-30.
